Ok, so I’m not like a poker freak or anything, I don’t know all the stars names in the World Series of Poker or anything, but I do play every wednesday night and lately things have been going well. We do a $5 buy in every week. I’ve won money in nine out of the last ten weeks I’ve played. Tonight I got really lucky and won $59.75. Crazy!
How in the heck did you win almost $60?

i only bought in 11 times. and when i hit a boat 8s over 9s and get beat by dan’s boat 9s over 8s, you gotta believe the poker gods are smiling down upon you…

I’ve retired from poker after the last time I played. I bought in twice and lost quickly. I had this one hand I was super confident in and I was playing it great. Everyone was playing along and I kept gradually raising until the pot was huge. When I finally got called I threw down my hand with a loud A-HA!!!
When the other guy started pulling back the chips I said “Hey wait a minute… I’ve got a small straight! That’s good right!?!?” Then they all started laughing and said,
“THAT’S YAHTZEE DUMBASS!!!”
I think I’ve suffered enough humiliation from the game of poker. I’m done.
