Van and Friends

Well, we’ve invited some friends to become part of our family. Van, Jimi, John and many others. Last night I was helping some friends, Steve and Kim, move her stuff from her house to his (they are getting married!) and they are selling a bunch of stuff, including tons of records. So I bought their whole collection for about $20 plus an old record player. Their neighbors are yard sailing also, so I bought a Kenmore receiver for $20. We hooked them up to a pair of old speakers that we had sitting around and we are jamming away to some great stuff. Now I can listen to the Van records that Scott and Tami got for me a while back. Awesome.

Ah… John Denver and the Muppets. Honestly, it’s one of our favorites and inevitably the first Christmas Disc of the season in our house.
That’s pretty cool to have Meddle on vinyl! Have you listened to Echoes on that album yet? it’s like 30 minutes long or something…
